Nos quitamos el sombrero ante la magia de la curva. Lo industrial, lo sinuoso y el color, se confrontan a la rotundidad del Medievo y a las raíces históricas del pasado de una ciudad emblemática situada en el corazón de Eslovenia. La ciudad de Celje que pasó de ser ciudad noble en la que se controlaban la mitad de los territorios eslovenos actuales en el siglo XV, al desarrollo industrial desde la posguerra hasta los años 70. De clásico: la composición a tres niveles y la situación en un punto de especial relevancia en la entrada al casco antiguo. De moderno: la manera de disponerse y de afrontar el espacio urbano a su alrededor, mirando de frente a los edificios que le rodean, elevándose, girándose y brillando.

Here we have the magic of the curve. The industrial, the sinuousity and the color, confront the rotundity of the Middle Ages and the historical roots of the past of a city located in the heart of Slovenia. The city of Celje went from a noble city in which half of the territory of modern Slovenia was controlled in the 15 century to the industrial development from the time of postwar reconstruction through the 70s. This building it’s composed in the classical manner of three levels but is also situated close to the ancient city gates in a busy junction. The way it’s disposed and how it looks to the urban space around itself shows how easy is facing the surrounding buildings, rising, turning and shining.
